About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where three friends kept arguing about which games were worth the storage space. Eventually we got tired of screenshots and voice notes and turned it into a proper site. Everything here comes from actual sessions on actual devices, not press kits.
We care about the boring stuff most reviews skip: how controls sit under your thumbs, whether the settings menu lets you turn off the noise, and how warm your phone gets after twenty minutes. Those things decide whether a game stays installed.
Games get picked in a simple way. We follow what people mention, what shows up in updates worth talking about, and what one of us stumbles onto and can't put down. Then someone plays it for at least a few hours before drafting anything.
We're small on purpose. Fewer reviews, more time with each one. If we didn't finish a game or spend real hours in it, we don't publish a verdict on it.
